Failed to update software xperia U 4.0 From ginger

Dear Support,

     I tried to upgrade software from ginger to ICS. But i am getting back fire. Even i using sony companion Interface to upgrade this job, i did all but after upgrade same giger is re-installed.Even my friends also tried in my mobile..no benefit.But Their xperia U upgraded to ICS why NOT mine?????????  Please give your valuable comment....

Are you using PC companion or sony update service to update?

Yes. I am using Sony PC Companion only....

Are you sure that ICS is available for you?
