facing problems with gallery apps

Hi everyone,

i just got my sony ericson xperia acr a couple of weeks ago and now i'm facing problems with my memory card. (i'm not so sure if it is the memory card itself. Everytime i turn off my phone all my musics and pictures suddenly disappear. but when i check on my memory card ( connecting it thur my laptop, my music folder was there but when i try to play it on my phone it show that media gallery is empty. same with my pictures. i dont know what to do please i really need your help.

ok..

download file expert from android market..

go through the folders of the phone..go to the music folder and see if there is a nomedia file..

if there is delete it..

same in the DCIM folder..ok..

if that doesnt helps..

if that doesn't helps try formating the memory card..

copy all your memry card files onto your laptop..

and when after formatting paste only selected files and folders..

and dont paste the music folder , create a new folder in memory card named "music"and just select songs and paste it...

same for the pictures..

ok..

Am also facing the same problem.......everytime the phone is restarted all of the media files just vanish away.....and when i use the android application Astro.....everything seems to be there in the SD card....but the music player and the media gallery dont load the media files........

Please someone guide me....what to do now....i just bought the cell phone and now i am quite disaapointed with this bug....am even thinking to replace it.....though i dont want to ....i love the camera and the phone is really kewl...  =(

Hey that worked for me.....thanks a lot slimshaddy......my media is back in the gallery and player.....but that file expert dint work......i used Astro application to remove the .nomedia file from my SD card.....it was placed at two places one at data folder in Android and one in the thumbnails folder.........after removing it.....everythings working fine i have even checked by restarting......

then i realised..what the h.ell..it feels good to be here and help

so since i was planning to purchase xperia arc ie in june..i'm here helping others like others helped me..
