Facebook notifications never appear

If i open the app, i get notifications. I gave enabled all notifications in fb app. i am on lte and i get notifications about gmail, facebook messenger no problem

but not facebook

why?

Settings > sound & notification > when device is locked > show all notification content > app notifications > facebook > priority

i never lock my z ultra. the lock is disabled completely. notifications do not come even when the phone's display is on and chatting with a friend.

even so, the settings were ok. still no notifications.

That's so odd, how about uninstalling facebook?

do you have a third party notification app or home launcher?

uninstalled nova launcher. uninstalled facebook. reinstalled facebook. uninstalled facebook messenger. no custom notification programs.

the icons in the app drawer has a little yellow bubble with the number of pending notifications, but they do not appear in the status/notification bar.
