Do you have any antivirus or taskillers? also keep in mind that you should contact Facebook developers as it's up to them and not Sony to address third party apps issues.
Just test it with a different phone and it seems that Facebook has been doing a lot of changes, seems that notifications aren't working even when they are turned on and you can't quite sync contacts as before.
