Facebook messenger unable to record voice with my xperia sp

I can't record my voice with facebook messenger
But with the other apps it works perfectly
Please help 😞

That's an app issue. do you have the option to record sound? if you don't then you need to download the latest version, if you do then try 

settings > apps  > all > facebook messenger > clear data > restart your phone and try again

If its an app issue there's nothing to do here but to wait for an update to fix this issue.
