facebook application - error message while loading the page.

Hi,

I'm having problem with facebook application on my Xperia arc S,

error message after login -  'an error occured while loading the page'.

but its fine when I'm using it through the browser.

can anyone help.

Can you try with someone else's Facebook account just to rule out this is not related to yours?

oohh yessss... its working from another account.... what will be the reason? do you have any idea... do you want me to uninstall any application. I already uninstalled sony ericsson xperia from the app settings in facebook.

can anyone help that why can't I open my facebook account in sony xperia arc s, I tried in different xperia also... its still getting the same error message... but its fine when i login in nokia phones,,!!!!

check your privacy settings..

If it's working with a different account it could very well be your account settings that are causing the problem. Have a look at your Facebook settings and see if you have secure browsing activated (Account settings > Security). If you do, try to inactivate it and then try again.

If not, have a look at these two account's settings and try to find out what's different between these.

Let me know if you come up with a good answer on this since I'd very much like to know what could be causing this.

@Markus: It was not working when I changed the security settings (secure browsing) too. I also tried different settings, but still was the same untill yesterday.

yesterday I installed a game (contract killer) and I entered FB login details because in the game it was asking for it, After that when I tried with the FB application again.., amazingly its working without any errors now... no idea how is this happened?
