External speaker actual location

Folks,

Was testing actual external speaker location on SX Z1. On mine it is bottom right hand side of the grid.

Should it be both sides or it is normal speaker location. If I cover right hand side of the speaker grid - sound goes away.

Could you check it on yours and reply, pls?

yes, I was looking in to this before as well. Now I need to establish if it is phone speaker defect or it is normal speaker location....

I hoped that speaker is locating along all speaker grid, but need to confirm this from other SX Z1 owners...

yes i also found that speaker is muffled when i cover right hand side (display facing roof) of the grill, but when i cover left hand side of the grill (display facing roof), sound is crystal clear. Suggesting speaker does not cover the whole metal grill...

i face the same thing here, when i cover the right side sound almost is gone, at first i thought it was hardware malfunction to stereo speaker but then i checked it again and found it a mono speaker and since microphone is in that location too logic says mic should be on the left side and speaker on the right
