External microphone noise

Hi, i'm trying to use an external microphone on a Xperia Ray with a 3.5 mm to XLR cable. I have audio but there is some high freq noise all over that isn't there when i'm using the headset. I've tried three different mics (SM58, Sennheiser shotgun and a Sony Lav) and all type of rewiring. I have connected shield and negative to 4 th pin and positive to the 3 rd. Is there any way to reduce this noise?

Unfortunately the phone is not especially designed for this so I can't promise that it will work or if you will experience any problems while doing so.

So is there any improvements to do if I want better audio in a conference?
