Exposure time - Shutter speed

Does the camera of the Z3 have manual exposure time / shutter speed options (20-30 seconds exposure) and if not, is it possible via 3rd party apps, such as Camera FV-5 etc?

Good to know, so, it's indeed possible? I mean, the shutter speed etc are not fixed, they can be altered via 3rd party apps. Just asking cause I've tried devices with locked/fixed times, that can't be changed even with 3rd party apps.

@Crowfather

yes and no, it is possible using such apps but not through Sony's camera, test them.

I'm actually asking cause this is my main concern regarding the purchase of the z3. I'm looking for a camera phone, for the times I don't carry a DSLR. So, the z3 seems like an ideal option, but I as earlier said, the exposure time is my only concern. I know that it's not available through Sony's camera app, but the fact that there are 3rd party apps that aim to manually controll exposure time doesn't mean that it's possible on all devices, since some of em are locked/ have fixed times. So, my question is: Will I be able to controll the shutter speed / exposure time of the z3 via 3rd party apps, or is the timing fixed? To your knowledge, supposing that the exposure time can be altered via the apps mentioned, what exposure times will I be able to achieve? 20-30 seconds would be ideal, but I can work with less. So I just need two answers, since your last reply was not very specific (sorry If i just missed something 😕 ) Is manual shutter speed / exposure time a thing via the apps we mentioned, and if yes, supposing you have experince regarding the topic, what exposure times will I be able to achieve?  Really appriciate the help you've provided/will provide thus far Grinning_Face

@Crowfather

I've used this two apps before, but I'll re-test them with my Z3.

you can control the exposure time from 10s to 300s but if you want full res pictures you will need the paid app, it's a good app but don't expect DSLR results
