experiencing cutoff during music playback

when i play songs through walkman app ,the songs plays with hiccups at regular internal i experience a lag during playing of songs as if i put a scratched cd in my dvd drive .is that headphone problem?i'm using sennheiser cx175 .but with my music player with the same headphone i didn't have this problem?any solution ?i stored all my songs in sd card which is sandisk class 10 32gb.

Try moving some songs to the internal storage to check if this may be caused by the SD card.

I have had same problem.
I noticed that cracking (scratching) goes off when short pressing Power key button but comes back after 30-40 sec again. So annoying!!
Eventually I make factory reset (for some other Reasons) and now not facing that problem anymore...but other bugs came on surface...

is this a software problem or hardware problem?if it's a software problem there is not much i can worry because i will anyway flash it with cyanogen mod after my warranty gets over.we need to take this problem to the xperia developer team it its really a software problem.
