Hello! One day i turned my Play off and had it in my bag, after i turned it on again this strange Problem appeared:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JlThOiILqC0 The screen is white and pixelated. At the begining it worked normal if a opend and closen the game pad a few times but now it doesn't work anymore. Verry much people have this problem. And i would like to know if the warranty will fix this or if I need to pay for a repair. I bought the play last summer and I live in Austria. Thx for help !
Only a service centre can advise if the handset is still under warranty as they need to inspect the device, however I can advise that such a fault would generally be covered by warranty.
I see that your screen is cracked so I doubt the warranty will cover the repair. However you can discuss repair options with your local Sony Mobile support center.
