Hi,
I configured the Exchange ActiveSync with my hotmail account. When I choose to sync contacts, nothing happens, for e-mail and calendar it works as suppose. Does anyone has face this problem? How to fix?
Thanks.
Ptorrinha
As far as I'm aware Hotmail has no support for Exchange Active Sync, they use IMAP4 or POP3 (a little bit unsure about exactly which one of them though), so there for it won't work out to sync contacts.
So it's not really a problem, it's how it's supposed to work, since the lack of support for what you'd like to do.

Hi Petter,
I don't understand one thing, if Hotmail has no support for Exchange Active Sync, how can e-mail and Calendar sync work? The only thing I can't do is sync Contacts...
Since the other, IMAP4, has support for those things that works also. It though doesn't have support for the last and third of them I'm afraid to say. Sorry!
For full EAS functionality I'd recommend you to use a "real" EAS server.

Hi again Petter,
I've made some research and according to this forum http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/hotmail-sync/why-is-hotmail-not-syncing-correct... it should work, so my question is how can I see on my Xperia U, which versions of EAS is installed.
Thanks
