Exchange ActiveSync setup to outlook.com

I have tried to setup my new phone to access my outlook.com and outlook.dk account.

I use the calendars as shared calenders with my wife and never experienced any problem setting up the accounts on either Iphone or Samsung using the exchange active sync.

When I try to set it up it tries to connect trough port 443 as default. I also tried 110, 587 and 995. It just says that it cannot connect to the server. I tried both with and without SSL. I tried both 3G and wifi connections.

Any idea what might be the problem?

Did you try with the following settings?

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/outlook/send-receive-from-app

You could also use the Outlook.com application that you can download from Google Play: 

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.outlook.Z7

Downloading the Outlook app did the trick.
