I just want to express my gratitude that the waterproof warranty is for real!
I accidentally showered with my Z1 compact after a jogging session. As all lids were carefully closed I was dissapointed that the screen did not react to touch afterwards. As most posts on the internet are about vendors not accepting warranty claims when water is involved and even Sony is said to blame lids that have not been properly closed, I sent my device for repair really without much hope. But to my great relief I received a message that it would be repaired indeed. And when I opened the box it even turned out my device had become a Z3 compact 😄
