error message downloading applications

  I got new Sony miro smart phone but I cannot download any application to phone. When I try to download some application it give to error massage (error retrieving data and sever error) but I can brows internet. Please help me

settings > apps > all > playstore > clear everything and uninstall updates

are you using @googlemail.com or @gmail.com

You may also have WAP settings installed, I suggest trying the following,

Menu > Settings > Xperia > Internet Settings > Accept Disclaimer > Choose network carrier > Wait for settings to finish downloading.

Once the above has been done, try downloading apps.
