Hi all,
some help on this would be ace as a weeks worth of scouring the net has yeiled no results...
Yep, I tried resetting the phone, updating the phone, repairing the update, everything. I tried formatting the SD card, exploring the internal memory, and removing hidden cache folders, thumbnail folders all of that jazz, restart after reset all to no avail.
It all went down after the much anticipated jellybean update, no other factors.. worked a treat before the update, now it hates life.
any help on this would be fantastic... there are endless threads on this issue but every single one ends at a dead end.
Cheers,
Ash
you did try using PCC and SUS?
try to contact your local service center http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
Hi, yes I did try both, more than once.
looks like off to a service centre I go then?
yes I think so, since you have already exhausted possible effort in repairing it yourself
Hi there,
I had this problem intermittantly a while ago and eventually figured out I'd gone to take a photo, closed the camera however it hadn't closed properly. Tried to take a second photo while the camera was in use and got the same error as you.
Make sure no other apps are using the camera or the camera light. For example, I have an app that keeps the LED turned on so I can use it as a torch. It seems like if any app or part of the system is still using the camera, you can't take a photo while the camera is in use (even if it looks like it's closed).

Hello,
I've got the same issue on my LT30p branded Orange France. Since the last system update (4.0.4 not the latest in fact, Orange don't want to apply it ...), the camera can take several photos perfectly, and after it crash every time (camera application). Only way is to reboot the phone.
Can you give us the version of your OS ? to check if it's the same than me.
Regards.
