error 495 on downloading apps

Hi,

   I have recently purchased an Xperia Arc S.After using the mobile for a few days i had problems opening the Xperia Gallery.So, i had done a factory reset and the problem was resolved.But, now i am unable to download a few apps from the Google market.Some of the apps download without any problem but the others fail with reason as 495 error.

I have tried all options i.e. the factory reset,updating to ICS ,software repair with PCC but nothing seems to work.

Please suggest a way to resolve this problem.

This is generally a proxy error due to there being WAP settings and not Internet settings on the phone. You can check this:

Main Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names > You may need to check with your network to confirm if these are the WAP settings, if so please get them to change these to Internet settings.
