Error 406

I just got an Acro S and whenever I try to download an app I get the message '(name of app) could not be downloaded due to an error (406)'.   I tried to delete proxy and port numbers (as was suggested in a post from last year) and restart the phone but that only meant that I had no internet access at all.

try this

settings > apps > all > play store > clear everything > restart your phone > try again
