i want EMMA(xperia flashtool) username and password ........ and my xperia flash mode is not working it got dissconected after 5 sec but fastboot worked grt .......

If Emma requires a user/pass you haven't copied the Customization.ini file to the installation folder. See http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/ for installation instructions.

Try flash mode again when Emma is running.

Hi,

I tried to use EMMA on Windows 7 and XP.

My phone is connected over FastBoot to my PC but EMMA does not see the Phone.

Can some one say what I did wrong?

I started Emma - plugged in USB - Connectecd Phone in FastBoot (blue LED) - EMMA stays empty.

Fastboot is different from Flashmode

Holding volume down and connecting the usb lead enables Flashmode

Volume up and connecting the usb cable enables Fastboot

Flashmode flashes new firmware

Fastboot flashes custom roms and for example is the setting needed to unlock the bootloader

For Emma to work you need the phone switched off then holding volume down connect the usb cable
