Emergency calls only again

There are far too many complaining about this, are there any fixes for it yet?

I have this problem also

Its intermitant at the moment,

I can recreate this occasionally or just coincedance???? If I try making  a call while the signal bar is red, I can't make the call so if then I  hang up, then the emergency calls appears even though the signal bar  goes full (blue). If I reboot the phone it works fine for a short while.

try to take out sim card and insert it. Ensure that you have adequate mobile phone coverage in your area also

Thanks for the idea but I think its a bit more serious than that.

With the ammount of people complaining about this S/E should be investigating it and providing a fix. They need to supply there employees with a Vivaz to use on a daily basis and they would soon see the problem.

It doesn't happen on demand everytime so not sure how they would find the problem without a long term trial.

Download the settings for your operator, go to settings then phone and downlaod settings, if that doesnt work go to your operators website and get them from there.

I agree, NOW after a year and half I am facing this issue after chaning the display of my VIVAZ...Did someone find a fix to it ? This is messy..I tried out all possible things other than going to Service center...which should be my next step now..Let me know if you have any information to fix this up.

I am using Sony Experia SP since last week. Idea is my service provider. I am from pune.

I am also facing this issue "Emergency calls only" since morning. I restarted the phone several times.

Took out the sim and inserted it again. but still having same problem,
