Email update

I updated my email from googlemail to gmail and everything computer wize has changed fine. However, on my phone, it still uses the googlemail one. I;v tryed to delete the googlemail account in the settings, but it says that I would have to reset the phone to factory settings.

Is there another way to update it or will it do it by itself soon?

I can advise that Googlemail is actually Gmail. If you wish to remove a Gmail account from the device you will need to perform a Factory Data Reset as the email account that you first used is attached to the phones core applications such as Play Store and the Pattern lock feature.

Thanks for this, but I already knew that googlemail was gmail. Its really a shame that you have to restet your phone because of it.
