email setup on xperia s

I can send emails from my xperia s phone but i can not receive them.  Any ideas?

Seems like there might be some issues with the outgoing e-mail server. What type of e-mail are you using? Gmail or some other provider?

Ah, Hotmail. I've heard a lot of people lately having issues with adding Hotmail account to the e-mail app in the phone. Seems to be some issues there. Try downloading the Hotmail-app from Play Store instead, it works better!

Well, as far as I know this is related to Microsoft/Hotmail rather than the phone itself actually. Have you tried the app?
