Hello. I write about it again since it's the crazy annoying thing.
Default email app on Xperia devices looks nice and has a nice workflow.
The problem is it stores only 25 emails on phone. No matter what. It cannot be changed.
This is atrocious and stupid. It forces people to use 3rd party apps to work with emails. It doesn't allow us to use it properly.
Please make it work profi way like on any other smartphone.
What's wrong with 3rd party apps? the preloaded Email app it's quite basic
Well why should I pay for the 3rd party if I have the inbuilt one,
WHICH SHOULD JUST WORK.
Replacing everything is nonsense.
Your answer is actually not answering my Q.
There are great free email apps on the play store, again this is a basic Email app
You should let Sony know how you feel
First off tell what email service you use (eg: gmail, live mail, yahoo mail or some other cooperate email exchange service) and want to sync with the email app. Sometimes the number of emails available for online or offline viewing is set by the exchange service and not the email app. I tried to replicate your problem with a gmail account on mine and I did not have your problem. Also check to make sure that you have set the update time limit accordingly.
Second, don't be rude towards the people trying to help you here, they don't work for Sony or don't get paid they are just trying to help you. Besides @uliwooly was right, the app on the phone is basic
Thanks for reply.
Yes I will post it there.
Anyway basic or not, in the past I could decide to have all emails
on the phone, than somebody changed this.
I use Onet email, on IMAP. The same provider on Outlook gives all the emails in inbox, 3rd party app takes all of them as well.
It's Sony app which makes this limitation.
I think this is google's/android basic email app not Sony but it will be good to get a confirmation
Actually Gmail app let's you sync everything you want.
Email app should work the same.
The Gmail app its a dedicated app by Google and well the Email app its just a basic app
