Email option in xperia mini

I can view my yahoo emails through email option in xperia mini. whenever I enter my email id and password it shows error even if there is internet connected through wifi option.

please can any one help. Can any other accounts such as hotmail, yahoo........can work in this option

What kind of error message are you receiving?

As long as your Email Service Provider supports POP3/IMAP (Secure/Non-secure) it should be able to be received in your mobile phone.
