Email numbers

Hi, I have a notification of 1 email, however I have literally deleted every email since day 1 and it's still showing both as a blue number right hand corner and on the email icon.

Really annoying. I've turned off and on, gone through every file and there are no emails anywhere.

It may be worth clearing and reinputting the emai laccount details again as it sounds like there is a problem with the email application: Main Menu > Settings > Apps > All Email > Clear Data.

(i seem now to have 3 aliases..  ezy, ezy2 and ezy3)....

anyway,  did this work?  because the day after i connected my smartwatch2 the numbers went nuts.

the email app, with just 1 account now says "5"  even though it has no email to display. 

weirdly it went "nuts" as it did so and reloaded a lot of emails previously removed.

My problem is that after sending emails from my Z1, every time I sync my mail (Microsoft Live account) it adds a duplicate copy to my sent folder. I have tried deleting the account on the.Z1 and setting it back up but the same problem re-occurs. Anyone got a solution?
