email not working since upgrading

First time ever using a discussion group so not sure what I'm doing.

Since upgrading my arc phone the other day I have been unable to read my emails

Gmail app?

Email app?

Browser?

this might sound like a dumb question, does the browser, facebook, maps work (internet connection)?

try

settings -> applications -> manage applications -> all -> email -> clear everything and try again

you probably have to change the settings like security type, port and/or SMT server
