Email deletion

How do I delete received emails from the phone.  I cannot find anything to point me in the right direction from the settings menu.  When I open an email, there is no tab/button to delete it.  Am I being a bit stupid?

But you can select multiple emails by clicking on the tick boxes, and then you'll get a little pop-up on the bottom of the screen which lets you delete them all in one go.

The point missed here is that if you delete 30 emails, they go to "trash" and then in trash you have to tick each individual email again, which wastes a lot of time! There is no "select all" and it's not been implemented in 2.3.4 Crying_Face

Nirmy, EXACTLY the same frustration I have! Why no 'select all' on the trash bin?

The built-in email client looks nice, but is pretty basic. In addition to the lack of 'select all' there is, as far as I can tell, no way to:

  • move a message into a folder.
  • set it to display images by default.
  • Push email on my gmail or exchange accounts. The option was there once when I looked, but currently the best it can offer is to update every 5 mins. Something is blocking that.
