Elm tsl/ssl email and software update problem

So i had my email on my phone working for a year now but for the last few days it says "An error occurred using TLS/SSL. Contact your email provider if the problem persists". I tried deleting and recreating account (i had to set stuff manually this time but i think i got it right) and it won't connect, it just says 'Finding server'. I tried to update software but it says 'Could not download update'. Im using my home wi-fi connection which always worked perfectly. What's the problem and how can i fix it?

I just can say that, since few days ago, it happens the same to my Elm. And I still don't know what's happened, nor the solution. If  we find the solution we'll contact each other, ok?

did you have no problem with previosly installed java programs, contacts, calendar, mobile settings etc.?

I know it is possible to save all with Sony software but I have several programs installed and I've fear to have to start installing everything or need to set again several settings (email etc.)...wich would be really annoying.
