Please update that when Sony is going to release Next Update to resolve Echo Problem ?
Also let me know that Is this Software issue or Hardware ?
As far as I know this is software related and not hardware related. Unfortunately I don't know when the next update will be released.
Guys, here is the update from Sony Service center, i purchased this mobile on jan 3 2013 since a week i am facing the echo problem on my tipo, i e-mailed to customer support about the issue and they asked to visit service center.
I visited service center few days back, to my surprise, i came to know that its a design and a hardware issue and there are no software updates that will be released to fix the issue..and inside service center guy clearly made me understand that we have to live with the echo problem with tipo or fight with sony
to get a new replacement unit(other than tipo)
And more importantly sony already stopped manufacturing this model since january.I am preparing my docs to file a case against sony(luckily brother in-law is a lawyer, who is helping me out)
follow me to raise the voice and drag sony to compensate on their faulty mobiles
You must have been misinformed by the service center. It's not a hardware/design issue. A software fix will be released.
The Sony service center..itself confessed that its a desing and a manufacturing defect..where the sony is least bothered about.
Even in my todays conversation with univercell owner, they confirmed its a hardware defect and cannot be rectified with software updates...
i have already used nokia cell phone with same sort of problem. but this problem was fixed after updating the software.
Guys wait for the next update .... dont be furious
No word from sony..that it will be fixed..
I wrote a post here above saying it will be fixed, so yes, you've got a few words from Sony that it will be fixed in a future software update.
By the time you fix this no one will be using the Tipo.

But Service center people go to replace my mother board for echo problem. Even new mother boardhave echo problem and also find additional issues in it. I have this problem from day 1.
And since two months of time between my mobile purchase and today, more than a month, the mobile is in service center.
Really really fed up for choosing Sony Xperia.
