Earphone problems

I have a problem when I use earphones (MH750) with the Xperia Z1

The problem started about 2 weeks ago

I can hear music through them, but when I want to change tracks and anwser a call it dosn't work.

The earphones work fine on other Sony mobiles

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Not only the iPhone , nearly every headphone has it's functions just like the picture. If your headphone works well on other phones, you should use a new headphone try again on your Z1 at first. If can't work well still, that's your earphone jack may has something wrong. You can consider to replace with a new one.

The earphones are the ones that came with the Xperia Z1

Like I said, they work on other Sony Mobiles, I tried them on different mobiles in the store

Tried  a friends set on my mobile with the same results

Its really Pi***** me off

Sometimes the earphones works fine for 30 mins or so 

The they seem to lock up again

So it must be a phone problem

I have the same headset (MH750) and NO encountered issues so far from earlier FW (526) to the latest 4.3 FW.

You should bring your phone to the Sony center for checking.

It is not possible to answer or end a phonecall, turn up or down the volume. It's like it didnt work as a handsfree set!!!

Why?? It's too expensive to malfunction in that little detail.
Help!
