earphone jack covered?

Hello,

I have a question, I wanted to try my Z2 in the water but I'm not sure about the earphone hole...what does it have to look like? I mean is there a lid with a particular color that I can see when I look through that hole? Can it easly break when I insert the earphone?

The jack is not supposed to be covered,water won't damage the 3.5mm input.You can safely use headset after submerging the phone.

glad i read this, i thought i'd have to wait a while to insert headphones after submerging

A while meaning how long?you should wait for maybe 30 mins - 1 hour.
