Ear speaker grid

Hello,i have a upgraded Sony xperia U...well this morning d phone was workin perfect but all of a sudden in d afternoon my phone's ear speaker stopped workin...i mean i was not able to hear any thing...i've restarted my phone couple of times,removed battery,sim card..cleaned up..but still its not workin...does any one know what the main issue is? or how can i fix this.

I also had the same problem earlier.

have you tried *#*#7378423#*#* and tested for ear speaker?

try tat to know if ur speaker is working phisically.

Or better yet install diagnostics app from Google Play, it does the same function.

You can try to put in a headset in your phone and removing it while you have music playing on your phone.

If you still experience problem test the ear speaker as described above. Otherwise you can repair the phone software using PC Companion:
