Ear speaker doesn't work

Ear speaker doesn't work while on a call. However, loudspeaker works fine at the very moment. Is it a hardware or software issue?

Could be software,try settings-apps-all-sound enhancements,force stop and clear data. Do the same for smart connect.Restart.
