E4G Slow

Hey All,

I have an E4G that is just so unbelievably slow!!

The device has a 32gb sd card in that has the majority of the apps and media stored to it and around 2gb free of the internal storage.

My issue is that, even when opening the text message function the phone takes a good 4-5 seconds to display the inbox, it really is unbearably slow.

Opening apps can some times take longer and making a call is really slow, the screen can sometimes lock in the time it takes to 'dial' a contact.

I have ran avg which is clean and also used task killer which says the phone is in optimal state.

the phone is re-booted on  a reg basis but this has little to no effect.

Any help of advice on this would be appreciated as this issue is ruining an otherwise good phone.

uninstall both avg and the taskiller, boot on safe mode, only the preloaded apps will be available, use the phone like this for an hour or so, check if you encounter the same lag, if you don't then it's a third party app creating this issue, probably using up most of the RAM.

I agree, among the first things I did was to uninstall the pre-installed avg, and my phone is pretty snappy as far as app opening is concerned, try avoiding too many apps that run all the time, they eat away the Ram. 1 gb (or ~900 mb in the case of E4g) isn't that much these days.
