I bought an E3 phone in March pay as you go. After 14 days it started to do funny things switching itself on and off been back on and freezing. Took it back to the o2 shop where they just took the sim card out and put it back in on two occassions. The mobile also freezers. I have asked them to send it to sonys service centre and the shop refuses. It went funny today Sunday 12 April freezing and shutting down and switching itself on and off 5 ttimes.rang shop and manager was unhelpful again. Noticed in updates troubleshooting and noticed information about safe mode. Put it on safe mode and 6 apps disappeared. Amazon ebay amazon mp3 Facebook track ids disappeared so I think I have been sold a faulty mobile that some one returned. I bought it as pay as you go but the shop claim that I'm passed the 14 days in changing my mind as I kept telling the manager it's faulty but the shop won't do anything about the faultS. Has Anyone had this problem before and how did you resolve the issues

Try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
