e mail sending issues!

okay this is the second time i have started having issues with this exact same problem and I am now close to returning my phone and chosen a different phone! I send a reply to an email and then find that my phone is sending the email about (and this is no exaggeration!) 100 times! Please fix this or tell me why its happening or I will be returning my phone!

1. which email app? 

2. if its the Email app (not gmail) its quite basic, I recomend that you get K9, or maildroid, etc., if its hotmail get outlook.com (app)
