I hope you can Help, I'm using xperia sp just got it after updating from Miro on which emails were working fine, I could see inbox, upload new emails read and they would all stay in inbox unless I deleted or moved to other file. I'm haveing a few problems with the e-mail on the SP. I can load new msgs read them fine then as I have it on manual load i load new messages the old msg diappear. I can't seem to find them any where, I have checked pop and smtp settings with virginn and entered the correct ones. I can send and recieve ok it's just that they don't seem to stick arround!
That's not your phone that's the email settings via your Pc's web browser - You will have options and I bet they are set to once read move to a different folder or delete - Look for the pop forwarding settings - You need to change these settings to keep untill you manually delete
Yes web browser on your Mac like Firefox - Now it may say keep emails on server but look for the pop forwarding settings these will probably say once read remove or move to a different folder - It almost certainly 99% of the time be in pop forwarding settings
No - On my email via my Pc I have ticked or set via it's settings Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded) and ticked is Enable IMAP also When messages are accessed with POP set to Keep Mail's copy in Inbox - So with these settings No mail will be expunged or deleted and will stay in my inbox even if deleted from another email client - Those settings also let me download the messages to several clients like my phone or my Pc's via Office outlook etc
