duplicate thumbnails in album?

whenever i open album in my ion i see duplicate thumbnail of same file ie video/image but their isnt any duplicate file on my sd card or internal memory.

and if i delete anyone of the duplicate thumbnail whole file get deleted what should i do to get one thumbnail for one file?

Sounds strange! First of all try to clear data for album and media storage. Go to settings > apps > the tab all > album > clear data. Do the same with media storage.

Restart your phone and wait for the phone to load all pictures again.

I am facing the same problem with my device.

Have already tried the option of clearing data, but that doesn't work..

 I also tried scanning the device using several anti-viruses for any kind of malware-trojan-viruses but didn't work out.

Finally connected my device to PC and 'cut' all picture folders from Device memory to computer. then rebooted the device, scanned the folders on my PC and amazingly it worked!!  BUT twas just a temporary workout as am facing the same problem again..

I'm so **bleep** tired of this. Every time I use the 9gag app or I listen to music, Tha album app just create a lot of thumbnails. I already tried to delete them, using the pc or a clean master app or even the file commander app; but the thumbnails just show again. And if I open the album and watch the thumbnails it Create a thumbnail of the thumbnail. My Z1 compact is a real Troll.
Someone please help me.
