Download map possible?

Hi Again,

Is it possible to download the maps to the phone?If yes, please let me know how.

(This can be done in Nokia 5800)

Phone: Xperia X10 mini pro

Does your phone come with Google Maps pre installed?  Not sure where you are in the world and I know some of the apps are location sensitive.

Yes..it has Google Maps Ver 4.1.0 pre-installed and my location is India. Let me know if you know any app for my country.

Google maps keep the maps searched by you in the cache. I am not sure if it is possible to download maps in some other way.

Android market application is available in INDIA. You must be having an application Android Market that is pre installed in your phone. Just run the application and you can see many applications compatible with your phone.

Yes..I have Market already installed on the phone which have plenty of apps in it but could not find any app to download India map

Let me know if anybody finds one.

Applications having India maps only are not available yet for android. Waith for sometime Android applications are developing at a fast rate.
