I bought two Xperia S mobiles. One of them (12w12 AAAB) has the yellow tint problem. The other one (12w14) did not, but had the screen so brownish that i changed it for a 12w17. This one has a brownish screen too.
I want my mobiles without yellow tint or brown screen problems.
I see that mobiles without yellow tint problems have the brownish screen instead. So I wanted to know when are new Xperia S mobiles going to come out without the brown screen problem, to change both of my mobiles. I do not want to change them untill then.
Thank you very much.
Hi,
I understand that there are a limited number of units which are experiencing the yellow tint issue on the Xperia S handset however I have heard of no such Brown tint issue.
If you feel that the handset has a brown tint to the display, I would recommend that you have an engineer locally examine the unit.

What I mean is that, the new Xperia S mobiles that you give in change of the yellow tinted ones have instead a yellowish/brownish screen, that is quite notable in white or bright images, compared with the firsts Xperia S. And I want a white bright screen, without the yellowish/brownish backlight, so I was wondering when are Xperia S mobiles going to come out withuot yellow tint issue o and with a completely white natural screen.
Thank you very much.
A few others including myself noticed this - the original displays seemed more white with a couple of yellow 'blotches', whereas the replacement display is a little warmer color-wise and has a slight yellow gradient from the very bottom which is apparently normal for an LCD display,
no brother, i m here with the same problem.

Yes! It is exactly that, perfectly described!
And only a few of these Xperia S possesors notice this problem.
Please notify if someone discovers the way of having the mobile with a proper white bright screen, without blotches and without warmer color-wise.
Thanks, that would be of use!
