dot in notification.

Why there is dot un notification even though there is nothing running

Is it still there after a restart?

ya its gone but i wanted to know what was that

It could be from an app you use and stays in the bar,it might not have closed properly.

As I understand, this dot is related to Google Now. You will receive it when there is an update/notification from Google Now.
