does z2 work with a z1 charging dock?

i have 2 charging docks for my  xperia z1 .... and i am considering to get the z2, but does the z2 charge with the z1 charging docks?

I do not think Z2 will work with the Z1 dock,you need the special one for Z2,DK36.

Dont let them trick you in to buying stuff.
Im charging mine in my friends z1 dock.

And keep your Z1, you will be so terribly sorry that you bought z2, trust me.
If you want a new phone, buy S5.
Or you can buy my Z2 so i can buy S5.

Nobody is tricking him,just that the dimensions are a little different.Great if it works.

The dock is open on the sides, so lenght doesn't matter, it is the same with the width.
So the only thing that matters is the thickness and the type of contact.
Contact we now is the same, and Z1 width is 8.5mm and the Z2 is 8.2mm.
And the dock is not that tight fitting on the phone.

I do not have Z2 and I have only seen the dock for Z1.The connectors are the same,I know.

What do you say bout magnetic adapters available in net shops (Usb to magnet charge)? 
Are these any good, anybody tried?
I know there are some Sony official cables (Sony logo on the charging tip), and also some china made not originals..
They supposed to fit to normal sony charger, just that the other end of cable is magnetic, not micro USB.

do not work with mine.neither dk36 nor third party stuff. but might be a prob with my phone, charging mode flashes on and off all the time.

anyone expirienced that?
