Does anyone know if Sony Xperia V has ANT+? Xperia Acro S has it and the two models are very similar to each other (actually they are that similar that V seems to be the successor of Acro S).
I can't check it myself as I don't have the phone and none of the shops that carry it allow me to switch the phone on before buying. To see if ANT+ is supported, install Endomondo and then go to Android system settings, section Applications and select Endomondo. Somewhere there is a list of services that are allowed for Endomondo and one of the items should be about ANT services.
On Acro S I tested ANT+ with Garmin Premium Heart Rate Monitor. Connecting/pairing the HRM is really simple: put the HRM on (and wet the contacts to get a good signal) and open Endomondo, go to Settings and select Connect Accessories (if I remember the menu name correctly). Then you click Scan and in a few seconds the HR belt shows up.
