I was thinking of buying one but SE are saying 16GB is the upper limit. Has anybody tried a 32GB casrd in the mini or mini pro? Running 1.6 or 2.1?? Any feedback appreciated
The phone specifications and the site says 16gb is the limit. But, I have not checked.
- MicroSD™ support (up to 16 GB)
- Phone memory 128MB*

Yeah I saw the specs and actually asked a CR rep in SE who said 16GB was the biggest supported, but sometimes those people just read it off the spec sheet and I thought the 'real' limit might be higher!
I don't know of anyone who has used a 32GB card, so do be careful, but I understand that if a device - of any sort - can take 16GB it should also be able to accept 32GB. I gather than the 32GB cards are relatively new, so it might be that the spec sheets were drawn up before 32GB cards were generally available.
I was hoping that! Is it at all possible that the hardware limits the capacity? A lot of sites now indicate that 32GB cards are compatible with the X10 but continue to list 16GB as the maximum for the Mini/Mini Pro. That's what made me think it might be a hardware thing...Thanks for the replies
I couldn't see any reason why it wouldn't work so I went ahead and got a Transcend Class 2 32GB micro SD card. Works flawlessly. Only gripe I have is that the music player is a bit slow to access it for album art etc. Holding out for Rockbox on Android, which is in development. Happy new year to all.
All spec "reviews" I found online list the max as 16GB capacity for the phone. The SE website http://http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/corporate/products/phoneportfolio/specification/xperiax10mini...
illustrates 32GB maximum. Was this recently changed? I recently installed a SanDisk class 4 16GB and it appears to work well.
