Do not have permission to write to folder

I have just "upgraded" tp android 4.4 and now when I try to download a file using Box Sync to my SDcard1 I get a message saying "you do not have permission to wrire into this folder". I have encryption ON.

Is this an android issue or Box Sync or encryption?

Thanks alexdon,

So I have the "Box" app which is perfectly suited to bring files onto my tablet but I can't download the files onto my SD card. I can download them to other folders it seems that are not on my sd card. Of course with only 16Gs of free space on the tablet drive it fills up pretty quickly. Makes "Box" not such a great tool anymore.

Not that it will make a difference to this specific issue but can I format my SD card to NTFS and still have it work on my tablet and have it encrypted?

Thanks again.

Richard

Android won't read NTFS microSD card. You could try exFAT if you want it a little different.Didn't 4.4.2 come with File commander?

Ah thanks, and then I will not have the 4 GB limitation. Will try it out thanks. Maybe this should be the standard?

I am not sure you will have exFAT support but try to format your microSD to that. You logged in from another account maybe,be careful that only one is allowed.
