DK-36 and IM750 compatibility

Good day, 
I'm interested in charging dock station DK36 for Sony Xperia Z2. 
Question is, can this dock station transfer video and audio files from my mobile phone to TV by connecting IM750 (MHL to HDMI) adapter (as follow: Xperia Z2 -> DK36 -> IM750 -> TV), or is it power charger only?

It doesn't transfer data AFAIK, only charging. I had the Z1 and now the Z3 with their original docks and when connected to PC via USB it just charges the phone, no connectivity.

Perhaps, there are any solutions how to charge and mirroring at the same time, without opening USB coverage, with magnetic port or wireless (without bandwidth loss)?
