Display turning off randomly

Hey,

I just got a new Sony Xperia SP today. The problem is: The display is turning grey(background light doesn't turn off)/locking randomly 1-10s after unlocking the screen even when I'm using the phone, as browsing the menu for example. When touching the display the phone notices it and one can hear a sound (when sound is enabled) but the screen stays black/grey. After turning black I can reactivate it by pressing the powerbutton which unlocks the display again. 

I haven't dropped the phone and it doesn't look damage from the outside.

It's very annoying that the screen turns black when using the phone. What to do? Is it a loose contact and I have to send it back or can this issue be caused by software?

Try to fix that issue by performing a software repair using Sony Update Service.

I get this, and when waking the phone up it acts like a teenager and i need to wake it abour 6 times before it even responds
