Display light automatically flashed on along with below ring light

Greetings SupportTeam,

Hope all is well. Would like to apprise that for the last 4/5 days I have been facing a weird problem in my Xperia U its display light automatically flashed on along with below ring light which sometimes is so irritating and it always forced me to check my phone I dont know how can this display background light automatically gets on which normally flashed on when any incoming call comes.

Please advice me on this issue. Has my cell infected with any virus ??? I would really appreciate if you can solve this problem because some times in my office it automatically blinks and I gt diverted from my work.

With the information supplied, I can advise that this is more likely related to an application you have downloaded. Some applications have the ability to turn on the backlight.

I suggest looking through any newly installed apps to remove this feature.

Yes even I am facing the same issue. I have not checked yet with the apps that are currently installed on my phone as suggested by the team. The backlight goes on just like that especially after I have just charged my phone. But I wont say that this is the only case when I face this issue, it is quite random. Looking forward for a solution.
