Display issue

i just brought xperia u 2 days back. There is a strange issue i am facing.. when i used phone for previous 2 days i found all screen area usable and the top notofication area was merged with main screen. But today i find the notificatin area and main screen with different contrast and slightly different colour so i started feeling odd look of my screen. I wanted to restore my original screen ..i done both type of factory resetting but result was same. can i have transparent notification band as it was earlier and i dont want this odd opac notification band on top my screen ...i want to remove it...plzzz advise

sir here is the screen shot.... i am talking abt the top strip ...u can see clearly distinguished contrast and color...i am sure when i purchased before two days back the are was murged or that strip was transparent so i cud use whole screen... plzzz advice either this is normal by default or problem in full screen display

I checked on a Xperia U and it looks the same as on your screenshot so I would say it's normal.

I agree too, it's ok. But maybe there is little difference if you are using animated moving background (original default scheme) or static background...
