To say i am disgusted is short of what i would like to say, it all began with my Sony Xperia Z2 sitting on my desk and out of the blue the screen on the front developed a crack... it wasn't even doing anything!!!!!!!, not like it was in my pocket or i dropped it or anything of the sort, i pride myself in looking after my phones and had the Xperia Z for 2 years with no issues, anyway, i sent my phone via the Sony freepost, which took nearly 2 weeks to arrive to their repair facility (royal mails fault not sony) to only be told that i had to pay £136 to get my phone repaired...erm how about no Sony!! i do not care if your warranty policy does not cover screens, at the end of the day if your product is faulty and has a new inbuilt feature of cracking it's own screens and you expect customers to shell out each time your product kills itself YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF CUSTOM, i even did some research and i could buy the parts and fix it for £50 LESS!!... whats your game? i will be talking to the repair centre tomorrow and i will be contacting the proper authority if i do not get this repaired for free.
Also Sony are not recognizing the breaking screens as a fault with their phones, even though it has been recorded on video as happening and reported to Watchdog how covered a story on the issue, well in the UK at least, not happy and will not be buying another Sony product if this is how they treat their customer base, which is a shame as i have been a Sony phone fanboy for years,
not impressed and not happy
I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way.
